All I have to do now is get my DualShock4 controller mapped, but after hours of research, the only consistent advice I can see is deleting the driver for this device and reinstalling better/different driver(s).

Today I installed the 32 bit version of this and it booted right up on my old 2012 MacBook Pro.
Today, there was massive news for people like me who couldn't work out all the kinks of Wine and that whole rabbithole. I have a mid-2012 MBP 13" running El Capitan (ancient, I know) and a late-2015 iMac 27" running High Sierra. So for years I've been toying with PCSX2 but never quite getting over the hump.
